"Mount Lewis Infants School provides a nurturing and engaging environment where children and families begin their school journey together. As a dedicated K–2 setting, the school is deeply committed to building strong foundations for learning, wellbeing and a lifelong love of school.

The focus is on high-quality early learning, where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive. Through explicit, purposeful and engaging teaching, students are supported to become confident, curious and resilient learners. Literacy is at the heart of the school’s work, with a strong emphasis on phonics, reading, writing, speaking and listening, alongside carefully planned numeracy programs that build understanding, confidence and a positive relationship with mathematics.

At Mount Lewis Infants School, learning is strongest when schools and families work in partnership. The school values the voices, aspirations and strengths of parents, carers and the wider community, and actively fosters warm, respectful connections that enrich school life and strengthen outcomes for children.
