Principal's message

"Mount Lewis Infants School is the perfect setting for families starting their school journey. Our school offers students and their families a positive and quality learning environment in every respect. Through purposeful planning and ongoing professional discussions, the school aims to develop motivated, confident and resilient students by delivering programs that are explicit, well structured and engaging.

The school has a strong focus on literacy, developing strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing, comprehension, speaking and listening. Numeracy is also strongly supported through targeted programs, resourcing and specialist staff.

The school's vision includes the views and aspirations of parents/carers and the wider community. The school believes in fostering strong connections with the community as this adds insight and a partnership to all school programs and another dimension of energy to planning and involvement. The school has a very welcoming and inclusive feel. I have every confidence in saying I know you and your child will greatly enjoy school life with us. We look forward to meeting you."
