Mt Lewis Infants School, established in 1952, is a small K - 2 school in the Bankstown School Education Area.
The school draws the majority of its students from Greenacre, Punchbowl and Bankstown. It has an attractive physical environment which is complemented by the landscaped gardens in the adjacent reserve. There is a warm, family atmosphere about the school for its 200 students and teachers. The school provides quality educational programs in Early Childhood Education particularly in the areas of literacy, numeracy and student welfare. Mount Lewis Infants aims to create an atmosphere where students are happy, confident and capable. We differentiate our learning programs for all students and engage our 21st Century learners in programs that include information and communication technologies including computers and iPads. Classrooms are well resourced and include interactive whiteboards and networked computers. Our school and teachers have received awards for excellence in literacy, technology and school/ community partnerships
